I think it is the best most versatile because it can be used by both me and my wife at the same time without being so noticeable in the room..

You do get a pretty good workout getting those anchor screws in but once it's in, it's as stable as a rock.

I bought the TRX, DVD and wall mount. It is well made and good quality. I feel safe with this piece of equipment. Awsome workout :)

Terrific Product!08/19/2008 - by Shawn Saulsbury from LATS, Los Altos, CA
The mounting brackets are easy and acommodating! Possibly some instruction on most efficient mounting direction(s) might be helpful.

Thank you for your wonderful well thought out products!
Very satisfied and continue to be challenged08/18/2008 - by Dave Armstrong from US
I bought the TRX and DVDs four months ago. Monthed the TRX in my garage and have been working-out on it three times weekly. I have gone through the 25 minute initial workout and have learned how to use progressions in each area through the Trainers DVD. Very satisfied and it has greatly helped my on-road cycling and golf. Not bad to find some real help at age 61.
trx x-mount08/16/2008 - by Mathias from Philadelphia, PA
I'm really happy with the x-mount. It took me about 5 minutes to install, and it's been completely problem free. The only issue I have is that I wish there was better guidance about where to place the x-mount. I've found that for a few exercises, the x-mount is in the wrong spot, and better guidance on placement would have prevented that.

Well made product. Sturdy. Durable.
TRX X-mount in my garage on the ceiling will be the best setup for me. I can mount it as high as I want and where there is adequate room to perform exercises.
The door mount just didn't feel secure enough on my interior doors; plus there wasn't enough room where my doors are located in my small home; plus I don't think it was near high enough. The door mount may work OK in someone else's home.
The TRX itself took some time getting used to. It is definitely a lot harder than it looks. It thoroughly works me out, maybe a little too well.
X Mount Review08/14/2008 - by Eric S. from Southeastern PA
I installed an X Mount Anchor on the wall of my (finished) basement, in the area where we keep other exercise equipment. Rock solid placement into a stud means I can get a good workout and not worry about having to find a solid spot for my anchor point. My wife even agreed it is unobtrusive, which was a pleasant surprise. Now I find that when I travel and anchor my TRX Force somwhere else, I really notice the difference that the ideal/sturdy placement of the X Mount makes.

The only drawback I have found was already mentioned in another review - movement of the anchor straps can cause a squeaking sound on certain exercises, but I'm usually cranking up the tunes anyway.
TRX Mount a piece of art08/14/2008 - by Oyden from www.brigatraining.com
Thank you very much for such a nice compliment for the TRX Suspension System.
I live in an apartment and using the TRX with the door mount everyday was a bit anoying.
Since receiving the TRX Mount I put it in the entrance of the door and it looks like a ornament.
Everyone has to do with it, asking what is this for. When I show them they go and buy one.
Keep it up guys.

Anchor08/14/2008 - by Mardee from US
Security of the anchor is great. I can execute various activities with full confidence. I love my TRX!
X-Mount08/13/2008 - by Rod Koen from US
I like the mount a great deal. I was surprised to find that there is a difference between the mount and the door support device. The mount is much more solid and doesn't slide like the door support does at times. I also feel much more anchored and that the angle of the device coupled with the solid anchoring has improved the performance of the TRX. I am also able to now do more extreme weight bearing exercises that I couldn't do before.

TRX Mount08/13/2008 - by Louis Sebastian from Tampa Florida
I have it attached to the ceiling of my garage and it is small enough, but strong enough to work in this location. It allows me the flexibility I need in such a small area.

LOVE IT! Having hanging up in my garage. Not only do I bring clients over to use it, but I make my husband use it too. Now he has no excuses!!
TRX X Mount is a great option for those with limited anchoring possibilities08/13/2008 - by Ruben from Indio, Ca
The X Mount is a great option for those with limited anchoring possibilities. I installed the x-mount on the ceiling and it opened up more exercise options, especially when it came to lower body exercises. This is a good accessory and I highly recommend it.

tough, compact, firefighter practical, infinitely upgradeable, hard to describe to people without demo.
Perfection in Location08/13/2008 - by Byron R. Walters from San Antonio, TX
I like to workout in my garage. The X-Mount made this preference imminently possible. I love it. As much as I like having the option of working out wherever and whenever I please when I'm away, I really miss the convenience and privacy of working out in my garage when I'm home. The X-Mount and the TRX have truly transformed the garage in my home into the finest gym in the country--bar none!
x mount08/13/2008 - by Jill Rooks from US personal trainer and group fit
Extremely strong and durable. Am currently using it to attach two TRX's and it seems to work OK. I appreciate the versatility of it accommodating two, however they do sometimes interfere with each other and can be hard to line up directly under the anchor point. Love the product and system!
great device08/12/2008 - by Fitness Anywhere Customer from US
the TRX is the best! Versatile, Effective, and easy to transport. The anchor is small and strong. It works perfectly in my small space.

The ceiling mount works great. I do agree I wish it wasn't quite so expensive and that there was more information given for tips on where to hang it and how much weight it can take. It definitely solved a use problem for us and I really missed doing those exercises with my feet under the pivot point when we used the door previously.
