You should buy this gym because of a few goods reasons. One being that it is portable and is great for travel. I even brought the essentials strength dvd to accompany the all body dvd workout.

As for practicality and effectiveness this system is better than anything I have ever tried. You really can use this anywhere and get a TRUE full body workout. I wish I would have known about this system and it's killer leg workouts when I was playing hockey in college, it would have saved me a ton of time and effort at the gym. You get the same workout as you would in the gym but in about 1/10 of the time.

I purchased the TRX about a year ago. When I first took it to my job those that were there just kept looking. I new I had unleashed something new. My clients always think I am crazy because I am always looking for new ways to challenge them. By far TRX wins, I love to do body weight training by using the TRX it adds a new dimension, it also kinder to your body, unlike weights.

Definitely a great body weight workout like no other. I was skeptical at first then after using it I was sold. It's definitely part of my workout as well as my clients workout.

Able to get a great workout, but had a hard time desciding if I should install a mounting plate on the wall or the ceiling.
Chose the ceiling and am happy.

I bought the TRX 2 months ago. I use it 3 or 4 times a week. It's fun as simple to use and i always get a good workout. It is so complete. I'm also very satisfied with the guides and videos.
Best purchase for the price.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this equipment!!!
First of all, as a group-ex instructor, I love the fact that I can teach participants with multiple fitness levels safely and easily. By showing my members how to change the angle of the exercise to suit their intensity needs, I can (and have) work out a 20-something tough guy next to a 69-year-old lady and give them both the workout that they need.
As an individual, it's fun to use! Although I've included resistance training in my workouts for years, it's been my least favorite workout activity up until now. It's a tough workout, but it's fun, time-efficient, and I love that every exercise challenges the core. Give me a suspended plank over a run-of-the-mill crunch any day!

This product is terrible. It makes me sweat. Too many muscles are working at the same time! There is also nowhere to sit. How can I flex my biceps and chat with people at the same time if veins are popping out of my head and I can barely breath?
Also, where's the magazine holder? It's almost impossible to read "Manly Fitness" doing plank to pikes. Sweat gets everywhere.

I just recently used TRX for the first time and I absolutely love it! The TRX targets all of the muscles I want to tone and I'm able to do the exercises even though I'm not a fitness pro. I can't wait to get one for my home!

OMG!!! Just attempted your express workout. Never knew I could Sweat in so many places and in such a short amount of time, sorry too much information. ;-)
Off to attempt a swim. May need help out of the pool...

I'm a 64 year old dive boat captain in the Florida Keys. Loading the boat with up to 50 scuba tanks was starting to kick my butt. A few months ago I began a new exercise regime of serious bike riding for cardio and TRX for strength. What a difference! No more aching elbow and shoulder joints from hefting tanks. My lower back pain is gone too. TRX does things to my body that traditional weight lifting didn't do. I feel more athletic, more capable of physical tasks, and younger. And it's fun; I look forward to each workout. Thanks guys. You have enhanced the last quarter of my life.

This is the best piece of equipment I have ever purchased, since I got it about 4 months ago, things are going great. Excellent for strength training and flexibility. Definitely the most versatile piece of exercise equipment, easy to use, great functionality, easy to set up and never ending variations of countless exercises. In combination with weigth training this is unbeatable.
How come it`s been a secret for so long?

I bought my TRX in November 07...where was this thing when I dropped $2000 on my home gym?!! I've spent a few weeks getting used to it and incorporating with my other weight training and I've seen immediate results. For the last few months, I'd stalled adding weight to my bench press. But after only a couple of sessions, I've added another 15 pounds and my stamina has definitely increased. On top of that, I find my workouts don't take as long except when my 5 year-old daughter jumps in and wants to try it out. Not a bad way to start her on the path to good fitness. As a recreational baseball player and golfer, I can't wait until spring to see the results on my game.

First off, the quality is outstanding. From the packaging to the product, there is nothing cheap here. For anyone ordering from Canada, it came remarkably quickly with none of the cross border nightmares we sometimes have to go through with packages.
I considered myself fairly in shape. Swiss Ball / Weight Bench / Machines. Typically I can do a new activity(like snowboarding) and walk away fine. I watched the DVD in the evening(thinking..."that doesn't look too tough"), did the workout in the morning(albeit huffing and puffing), and now 24 hours later, I can barely walk! I love this feeling! It reminds me of when I first started working out!

I'm a pilot and I spend about 200 nights a year in hotels. I am now fixing this to the door of the rooms and getting great workouts. I am pretty impressed. The best thing to cure the blues of being on the road or jetlag is endorphins. I love it!

All my clients are super happy (NOT!) about the new implemantion of the TRX to their weekly routines. Its the the best thing ever. There is so many exercises they dont see it coming and they learn something new every time. No more musical Chair! from one machine to the next, Constant movement its the name of game in my studio now!

With a fitness trainer for a wife I really didn't have an excuse to be out of shape, even though I was a Div 1 college athlete I always had a hard time working out because I wasn't in competition. My wife bought one and I made the mistake of making a joke while she was using it...then she challenged me to try it. Now I can't stop. It is an insanely fun/challenging workout and I'm actually enjoying getting back in shape. The plus is now my wife is much more excited to do the things that I want to do. Thanks TRX!
